New Sony CyberShot Adds WiFi and Web
Author: Editor // Category: Gadget Reviews, Must Have Products
The new Sony CyberShot DSC-G3 has a 10.1-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens with 4x optical zoom, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, Intelligent Scene Recognition, 4 GB of internal memory, and more, which is what you’d probably expect in a product update. But this CyberShot brings something else to the table: it is WiFi-enabled, with Internet browsing capability on its 3.5-inch LCD screen. You can upload your photos and short video straight from the camera to popular sharing sites like YouTube, Picasa, Photobucket, Shutterfly and DailyMotion.
There’s also the ability to do basic editing and retouching right on the camera, as well as add paint and stamp effects and even picture resizing. The PHOTOMUSIC feature lets you create slideshows with musical accompaniment: choose from one of the eight pre-loaded tracks or transfer your own MP3s to the camera to use. A Wide Zoom feature will automatically format 4:3 pics to 16:9 aspect ratio and vice versa.
The Sony CyberShot DSC-G3 retails at $499 and is available now.
